I just had to catch one of the two and then get the other one later.
I ran to the closer one first.

I had a bad feeling about this.
“Did you think that this would be the only place with a trap?”
“Are you saying that the other teams are being attacked as well?”

I couldn’t do anything about that. Wee Oong-bee made a weird expression looking at my calmness.
“You’re not enraged?”

I didn’t like Han Jung-ho and the government team dying off bothered me as well.
Son Aram was in the team as well and it was true that I was pretty angry once we started getting attacked.

Wee Oong-bee’s head that was rolling had a face crumpled up due to pain.
It wasn’t very hard to find Han Jung-ho.
He had died to a Giant White Tiger without being able to resist seeming getting caught by the monster army while running away in the wrong direction.
He would have won easily if he was in a normal condition but his bleeding was severe so battling probably would have been difficult.
I found a phone by rummaging through Han Jung-ho’s body. The screen was cracked but seeing how it turned on it seems it was working properly.
There was a password as expected.
I kept it for now.
I needed a professional to unlock it and for that I had to go back to Seoul so it was impossible to use the information here immediately.
That was why it was going to be used as an insurance just in case.
I didn’t do anything wrong but there was a possibility of me getting branded as a criminal if the fact that I chased after Han Jung-ho got found out while he was missing.
It wasn’t like I didn’t trust Son Aram but you didn’t know what would happen with humans you see.

The roar of monsters and screams resonated everywhere. It seems the pursuit was going smoothly.
After waiting an hour or so I called back all the monsters. A total of 101 came back.
53 died and the ones that died were mostly level 1. Both of the Giant White Tigers were still alive.
It was a bit painful that two level 4 died but there was plenty of profit to make up for it.
“Wow…… How many is this altogether.”
I got the monsters to pick up all the ores and items on the way back.
The collected items excluding belongings totalled over 1,000.
It was the number including the items the Chungho Group guys originally had and the item they left after returning to the void. If it was like this I had profited over 20 times more.
If Soo-ah was beside me right now she would jump up and down in excitement saying that it was amazing. No chance. This was all mine.
There were about 100 ores. I was hoping that Strengthening Stones would drop but there weren’t any.
The items were mostly low level but there were a few useable things among them.
They were mostly equipment of hunters at Wee Oong-bee’s level.
The sword that Wee Oong-bee had broke due to the Dancing Sword and Han Jung-ho was a guy that normally fought with his skill so there was nothing to get but the Four Arts Sword that Dan Mok-ju had was a level 7 at its base. And the option was pretty good too.
An option to change the length of the blade at will was a very good skill when fightly multiple enemies.
Thinking of it simply if I were to lengthen it to the maximum and use Aura Blade on it…….
Ah. The synergy would be no joke. It’s to the point of being a cheat item.
I got 2 level 7 items and 5 level 6 items besides that.
The Chungho Groups only had one and at most two items with them there was little compared to the number dead but it could still be seen as a huge profit.

I collected the items and ores and headed towards the government team base.
Since I got rid of the guys ambushing the guys at the base were probably retreating by now too.
If that wasn’t it they probably dropped dead. I did cuss them a fair bit but it wasn’t like the members of the government team were that sloppy.
Since the ones patrolling had a full level 3 set there should be quite a few better than them.
Going to the base the situation seemed to be getting organized well.
I headed to the tent where I hid Son Aram. As I dug up the thin dirt on top I found Son Aram looking at me with wide eyes.
It look just like the eyes of a squirrel.
“Did it end?”
“Ah. Yes. You can come out now.”
“What about the damage?”
“It’s probably not that big.”
Son Aram finally let out a sigh of relief and came out.
Since she was a normal person from the beginning there was no one that could reprimand her for hiding without participating in battle.
I could see the other hunters being elated seeing Son Aram alive.
It seems she was treated like an idol where the majority of the hunters were male.
I gave a rundown of the situation to her.
She opened her mouth while listening to the story of Han Jung-ho and the Chungho Group.
“If there was an ambush why are they not moving until now?”
“I’m not sure if you’ll believe me but I appropriately scolded them and sent them on their way.”
“Pft. You joke well.”
Scolding them and sending them off was a joke but the ambush wasn’t.
Looking at my sincere eyes she asked once more.
“There really was? Also, Sang-min took care of them all on your own?”
“If you can’t believe it there’s nothing I can do about that.”
“Do you have some kind of proof? It’s not that I can’t trust you but for people to move because of this kind of information there was to be evidence.”
“There is no proof of the ambush but…… there is this.”
I held up my smartphone and showed the picture of Han Jung-ho and Wee Oong-bee.
Normally, nothing would be done with just a picture like this but this was a war right now.
Having a picture taken with a Chungho Group member was enough as evidence.
On top of that, disappearing right before the battle was a suspicious event too.
She who saw the picture let out a light sigh.
“I will have to report this matter to my superiors and think of a measure. Please wait during that time. Right, please send me the photo as well.”
“Sure.”
I was wondering how the ambush of the other government teams were going so I was planning on waiting.
Son Aram hurriedly went somewhere and I was sending the picture to her when someone hit my back.
“Wow. You were alive?”
Turning my head, there was the hunter that had the Detect skill.
Was his name Park Chan-hyeong.
“Can I not be alive?”
I replied with a laugh. It was a joke but it probably wasn’t heard like that.
“No, it wasn’t in that meaning. Alone like a crazy guy…… No, you ran like a person that wasn’t right in the head after all. But why did you do so? The people swore a lot saying that you ran off on your own.”
“Did it seem like I was running away?”
“No, I know the reason after all…… Even so, there are probably many people that misunderstood.”

It seems it was going as I thought.

Since even Son Aram didn’t have the evidence he wouldn’t 100% believe it anyway. He will probably just take it as Han Jung-ho selling the information and inducing an ambush.

Park Chan-hyeong giggled. It wasn’t a bad attitude. It was a joke that came out since the battle was over and all.
