Chapter 79: Reylin's death
"Follow me," Vis said.
It was Earth, just a few minutes before their classes.
After Vis left his car, Reylin also did, and he instantly said those words toward him. It wasn't like the usual Vis, who would just follow the pyromaniac.
In his eyes, Reylin saw indifference.
So far, Vis was learning about Reylin and how he really was.
Due to Reylin's status, Vis was also a tad different than others. However, both of them became good friends after some time in school and their club, to say nothing of the gaming life.
"Little Brother Vis," Reylin chuckled.
Indeed.
Vis came here as Aria's brother. He spoke to Reylin with such status and didn't let Reylin come up with any excuse to not follow him.
In Vis' case, glare with just enough.
Reylin also considered his feelings toward Aria.

It was pretty pestering from the mother's side, and Aria simply told her that she was in a relationship already.

"Crown... Reylin..." Vis repeated what he said on that day.
He would be a good actor as he brought his feelings perfectly. If William saw that young man, he would surely take him into his industry!
Alas, both of them were behind the school building, where people rarely dared to step in.

Reylin chuckled, "It just happened naturally, I would say."
"Are you serious about it?" Vis asked, keeping the same tone.
The young man was also quite impatient as he didn't wait for an answer. He pulled Reylin's school uniform and shook him, then slammed into the wall.

"You are a good eavesdropper, Vis," Reylin chuckled, then pushed Vis away, "Unlike William, I just became 'an adult'. But what the fuck is adult anyway? If being an adult means that I will immediately go to work, create a family and focus on the investments for the future, then I am far from an adult.
My relationship with Aria is similar. I don't think about the future or what it might turn into. What I know is that I want to hold her, and that's it. I enjoy it, and she also enjoys the mood between us.
That's what matters. In fact, we are both still young. Don't think I am just playing around because that's not the case."
"Good," Vis sighed and turned around, "It seems you know more about her relationship with your brother. Don't repeat the same mistake. If both of you happen to break up, I will kill you, Reylin, regardless of whether it was a choice of both of you, or either."
"What a caring brother," Reylin chuckled, "If I had a sister, I probably would've done the same should my friend become the boyfriend. Well, you've become more pleasing to my eyes."
Vis spat and replied, "It's the opposite for me, you bastard."
It looked like today, a spectacular battle between Reylin and Vis would happen in their club activity!

"You are finally back, my girlfriend," Reylin waved toward Layla, who had returned to her shop.
She saw him sitting next to Monica.
The person who should be taking care of the shop was sleeping on Reylin's thighs while he took the role.
Players bought items with odd expressions, and no one dared to bargain with the pyromaniac.
"I wasn't here for too long... I think someone troublesome is going to knock on the doors sooner or later, so let's go upstairs," Reylin said.
Layla nodded as she had already received the information about his black nickname and its rewards.
She had so many questions that it would take the whole day to go through them.
Monica didn't let Reylin's thighs go, however.
She clung to them so tightly while sleeping that Reylin ended up slapping her cheek with his hand coated in fire.
At last, Layla opened the doors to her bedroom, and Reylin slipped in.
"You know, Layla... Relationships are much different here, and on the other side," Reylin said while going around Layla's bedroom with his nostrils bigger.
He clearly enjoyed her room's fragrance that was just like hers.
"Did you happen to have some problems on Earth?" Layla asked while unpacking some stuff from her inventory.
Reylin nodded, took out his fan, and blew a warm wind onto her face, "It's just much more complicated."
Layla smiled widely, seeing how Reylin enjoyed the present she had given to him, "Too much complicated, or that we are easier due to the polygamy?"
Both of them stared into each other's eyes, then Reylin gave up, "Have you ever thought you would be the only girlfriend from this world?"
"I have. But I also knew it wouldn't be possible. Is our relationship that deep? I enjoy it, and I am curious about the future. Still, I am not delusional to think that the so arrogant and mighty pyromaniac will sleep with just one woman by his side," Layla casually said.
It really hit Reylin, but that was what he had expected from the woman from the world where polygamy was common even between the commoners.
"Let's drop the topic. I know that I can speak with you about women and love, but bringing other women doesn't sit well with me... It will change when you all meet, but anyway. As you can see, I am not so cuddly today. That's because I have something serious to talk about," Reylin spread his arms.
"Kill me," And he said.
"Huh?" Layla paled, and she brought her hands to her lips.
She was so taken aback by those words that she began trembling, completely forgetting that Reylin could respawn on his death. She also didn't think about his black nickname at all, but that was why he spoke those words.
Reylin chuckled, "Do you want me to cuddle with you?" He was touched by her reaction.
As his arms wrapped around her voluptuous body, Reylin made her lay on him while saying, "The Ascended are blind... They gave me the means to help residents level up... This is a punishment that should make the whole world go against me, but I will use it wisely. And since I am still at a weak level, I can casually die from your hands.
You will be able to level up and pursue magic further than most mages. Layla, this is your big chance."
"I can't bring myself to kill you," Layla said, "You aren't just a player for me. That's all I will say." After these words, Layla hugged Reylin tighter and buried her head within his shoulder.
She kept surprising Reylin, and as he was more into love, Layla also began turning into someone important despite just being an NPC.
He patted her shoulder, "This is a world with quite a funny system. I can look healthy and still have just one health point... At that point, even a mere stone thrown by a commoner would kill me. And that's what I will do today. I will lower my hp and have you use just one skill with closed eyes.
Then, you will be able to level up like players. If you care about me, then you will do it."
Having said all of this, Reylin let Layla go and turned around. He began taking his HP down, and Layla just stared at his back with her heart pounding loudly.
He soon retracted his eyes and looked back into her beautiful stare, "One simple skill. Let's head toward a bountiful future, Layla." He smiled.
And Layla took out her staff and slowly pointed it at him, "Are you sure?" That staff kept trembling.
Reylin nodded, "Yes. Do it."

After Reylin died, he dropped his whole equipment, and his level also went down! He lost a lot, but Layla had received what many NPCs would do much worse things for!
She received the blessing from existence akin to god that would allow her to level up and chase the top of the Faynom World!
She didn't care about those matters, however.
Her eyes lingered on the disappearing particles, then Reylin's dropped equipment.
He dropped all his items, but for safety measures, he could've just stuffed them somewhere else.
There were a lot of places players could store their items...
And Reylin didn't do it...
He dropped all his items, allowing Layla to do whatever she wanted with them!
She carefully took them, then gave everything back together with a warm hug that made the whole reunion better.
"You are crying?" Reylin faintly laughed, "Seriously..." Although his words sounded plain, Reylin's heart transmitted his emotions as they were in a close embrace...
Layla's eyes rose, and she seemed to have countless stars within due to her tears, "Do you want to do it?"
"..."
A mood escalated to that point!
