If it was any other excuse, they could have pressed her to drink, but since Shen Tang said she took cephalosporins, they really couldn't force her to drink alcohol.
Wouldn't that be like attempting murder?
Besides, they didn't even know if Shen Tang had really taken them.
A few people looked towards the woman with flaming red lips. Shen Tang thought to herself, it seems she's the center of attention.
"May I ask who you all are..."
Shen Tang had originally assumed it was only Gu Family people, but it looks to be more than that now.
The woman smiled and said, "I'm Huaian's good friend. We often get together, but don't overthink it, there's nothing between us."

After speaking, she left with the others, rather hurriedly.

Another woman walked over. Shen Tang's heart thumped.
The woman had short stylish hair that gave off a heroic air.
She extended her hand, "Miss Shen, pleased to meet you, I'm Xu Yan."
"Pleased to meet you too."
Shen Tang shook her hand but couldn't pull back.
Xu Yan maintained her grip at just the right force - not hard enough to hurt but not loose enough for Shen Tang to pull free.
"Um..."
Xu Yan blinked. "Miss Shen, do you have time recently? I have a variety show that I'd like to invite you on."
"Huh?"
This was a completely unexpected development for Shen Tang.
"What variety show? I have a drama to film soon, so I may not have time."
She didn't know how to turn down people with good intentions.
"Our show is quite popular, it's called Cute Baby Forward. It's a parenting variety show, currently third in terms of total online views. We've had top actors and actresses on. If you came on it would definitely boost your career."
