Chapter 74: Mercumenes’ Plot.
Mercumenes did not sleep a wink.
After dinner, she was followed by a woman with glasses, who bathed her and then went to bed. There, too, she was used as a cuddle pillow by Tiarietta.
Now she had to recover her magic powers, which had been reduced to an extremely low level, but it wasn’t something that could be recovered by sleeping. I’ve poured too much magic power into the control unit of the ruins, and my own “core” has been damaged.
In order to recover my magic, I’ll need to uproot other people’s magic.
I wasn’t sure how much effect it would do on a vulnerable person. But if I ate a single gaping Tiarietta, I might be able to get enough power to escape from here.
