The sound of the wheels of a carriage riding down a paved and smooth road resounded inside the bloodserpent clans main branch.
The main branch was massive in size cutting out a huge chuck of BloodRock city. It could probably house thousands of people if it wanted to.
"The High Arbiter stays deep in the enforcement Unit house.....its still a long way to go miss" atop the carriage, the guard from the bloodserpent clan said with a look of helplessness painted on his face.
They had been riding for a few minutes now and Ember was seemingly growing impatient.
This was understandable, most existence at level 3 with the power of flight had this sort of impatience and would rather not get on carraiges because they were too slow.
"Hmp!!!" Ember sneered and turned away showing dissatisfaction. She was around Leon’s age a teenager who had just now hit 17, so naturally she still didn’t know how to control herself.
"Hmmm" Seeing her throw a fit Leon shook his head. The assassination attempt back in the market didn’t seem to be anything to his people, but the truth was that he didn’t expect it.
Maybe he would have noticed in a split second maybe not. What he did know was that Embers first thought upon seeing this happen was to defend him with her life. This was worth his admiration.
"I’ll hurry it up" a bead of sweat rolled down the guards head, he sped up the carrige riding deeper into the clan area.

The sound of socialising could be heard from the distance as several clan members of the bloodserpent clan could be seen socialising in an open field of grass.
There were chairs and several long tables with the finest of wine and meat all over the place. The grade of which far surpassed those that Leon had seen since coming to the world.
"Hm?" One of the blood serpent clan memebers turned to the horizon to see an average looking carriage riding towards the gathering.
"Luke, go send that patrol elsewhere, it’s an eyesore" the bloodserpent clan member instructed one of his subordinates while sipping a mouth full of red wine.
"Yes sir!!" The young man standing beside the table saluted before dashing towards the carrige as fast as he could.
A direct instruction from Walter bloodrain was definitely not something he wanted to fuck up. This guy was a seasoned enforcer in the enforcement Unit, and a genius of the clan at large.
"Halt!!!"
Yet again, the same familiar words resounded from the distance speedily approaching their carrige.
A young man in black robes and a breastplate amour could be seen rushing towards Leon’s carrige.
"Hmm?" Noticing this, the guard immediately froze. This person outranked him.
"Neigh!!!"
Pulling the reigns on the horse, the guard was able to stop the carriges movement. There and then he stood atop the carriage and saluted the new arrival..
"Sir!!" The guard saluted.
The enforcement unit was heavily militarised and they had ranks for each member who joined.
He himself was but a mere recuit with limited powers, however this guy infront of him was a true enforcer.
"You are not allowed to patrol this region, take your rustbucket and turn around" the enforcer immediately commanded the young guard.
They were having a gathering where the High Arbiter himself would be present. It was better for their special squads to take care of security than the ordinary grunts of the clan.
"Sir..." with hesitation, the guard stuttered and paused. He was here on commands much higher than this enforcer. He couldn’t go back, but at the same time he didn’t want to offend an enforcer.
After all, when he came for him, the High Arbiter would be too busy to interfer.
"What? You want to argue?!!" The enforcers luke face became dark as he stared down the young man who stood, unmoved at the top of the carriage.
"Sir!!!.....i am on orders from a higher authority." Finally summing up the courage, the recuit said loudly causing the enforcer to frown.
This kid could tell that he was an enforcer, how dare him speak of a higher authority?
"And....who is this higher authority?" With gritted teeth, the enforcer asked.
He too didn’t want to offend someone too high ranked. But could anyone with this recuit as a subordinate be more high ranked than his boss? Definitely not!!!
"Sir...I am on direct orders from the High Arbiter himself!!!!" The guard finally spilled the beans. It felt like he had just let out a massive load of gas building up in his stomach at this point.
He didn’t think that the enforcer would believe him, but he had to say it.
"Hmm? You must think I’m stupid!!"
He was right, thw enforcer didn’t believe a word from his mouth. How could the High Arbiter send a recuit to patrol an event? He had so many special troops under him....that was impossible.
"Sirrrr" the guard quaked, he didn’t know what to say. He was saying the truth, but it was too absurd to believe for some reason.
"Shut up and get out now!!" The guard screamed at the top of his voice.
But, he didn’t expect that in response his words...
—Boom!!!
He would receive a punch in the jaw that would send him flying several meters in the blink of an eye.
"What the" even while in the air, he was still trying to process what had just happened to him.
A gust of wind, the silhouette of a young lady with purple hair and a massive force.
Someone had attacked him in bloodserpent clan territory.
And it was a mage!!!!!
"Hmp!!!"
From the side of the banquet, a gust of wind suddenly blew as a young man flew towards the Ember at a sonic speed with his fist drawn back ready to land a punch.
His subordinate had been hit by a mage in bloodserpent clan territory, this was a big disgrace not just to him, but to the clan at large.
He had to retaliate.

However, just as he was about to hit Ember in the face, another silhouette appeared infront of her and swung her sheath sword downwards towards him forcing him to dodge.
"Fuck" using the wind resistance, the young man who had tried to attack Ember stopped in the middle of the sky and looked at both females infront of him.
One had hair as white as snow, and the other hand purple hair with eyes filled with disgust.
Both of then were mages and both of them were beauties of the highest order. But most of all, they were powerful!!!
Level 3 mages!!!

Several figures left the banquet area and surrounded the carrige with eyes filled with caution. Two level 3 mages had made their way into the clan without their notice....was this an attack?
They were immediately on high alert.
"Hmmm" Arian didn’t back down though, immediately they came forth she and Ember pulled out weapons ready for a fight .

That was when, all of a sudden the door to the carrige swung open and a young man walked out with his hand behind his back.
This young man had white hair and light blue eyes similar to that of a humans. But....he resonated with them immediately they saw him.
A bloodserpent clan warlock.
"Sorry for the ruckus, we are here for the feast?" Leon said with a smile before pulling out a scroll from his sleeves.
"Order from the High Arbiter" Leon smirked.
He had been personally invited by the head of the enforcement unit....this gut couldn’t be ordinary.
"I can vouch for that" to the side of the road, a fairly old man said with a smile while looking at the scene.
It seemed like this guy liked to create an entrance. This was good.
"Hmp!!! He should keep his pets in line"
Seeing that Zaldris, one of the seven Arbiters of the enforcement unit was vouching for Leon, the young man whom had attacked Ember earlier flew to the side of the other warlocks before gently leaving.
Even he couldn’t question the integrity of an Arbiter, but he didn’t need to respect Zaldris, after all, his master too was an Arbiter.
So he just left after leaving a few words, seeing there was nothing to pursue here the rest also left whilst giving Leon looks of curiosity.
Who was this kid to get invited by the High Arbiter himself? Was it good to create a relationship now? Or was he better left alone?
"Hehe, typical" Leon shook his head upon seeing these looks.
The bloodserpent clan members were known for being cunning and scheming, they were probably already accessing how their relationship with Leon should be at the moment.
This was why this show was needed, he had to send a message right away that he couldn’t be bullied.
"Come on, let’s go. The High Arbiter will soon be here" Zaldris came to Leon’s side and directed him towards the banquet
