The intense heat caused the ice to vaporize instantly, creating a cloud of steam that engulfed the area. The sudden change in temperature was so extreme that it caused the air to crackle with energy.

As if she knew what he was thinking,
"Sigh, it seems our plan was slightly deviated....however the results seem to be the same...." The woman's voice was laced with amusement as she spoke, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
She gestured towards Eli's teammates, "They have to go before you".
Eli with his hazy eyes, saw,

As she coughed up the blood, her silver bracelet glowed with a light. Slowly, her form began to fade, her body dissolving into particles of light. Her eyes lingered on Alex and Eli for a few seconds, filled with regret.
"Sorry," she whispered, her voice barely a murmur
Then, Mia who was beside Luna, another arsenic-colored hair woman plunged a blade into her throat.
Mia gasped in pain as she clutched at her wound. Her hand reached out towards Eli, her eyes pleading for forgiveness.
"Forgive me, b-big brother," she whispered, her voice choked with blood.
And then she was gone, her body fading away just like Luna's.
Eli's eyes fluttered shut for a fleeting moment, then his gaze darted towards Scylla, who had been valiantly battling against two dumb idiots. However, her valiant efforts were swiftly quelled when her bracelets were severed by a swift stroke of a long sword.
As her form began to fade, her eyes burned with a fierce intensity fixated on the arsenic-colored hair woman who stood a few feet away then she glanced at Eli with gloomy eyes and didn't say anything.
Eli's eyes slowly turned indifferent as he looked at Zera, whose right hand was severed by the unrelenting blades of the two arsenic-coloured hair women then shattered into countless fragments.
As Zera's hand was severed, she looked up at the white-haired woman who stood panting before her.
"I think I learned something now," she murmured. Her gaze drifted towards Eli, her chest heaving with exertion. "Even though you told me to save my energy... I am sorry..."

Eli's eyes finally landed on Alex.....however, it seemed like he was doing fine and trying to block incoming attacks from Noah. Eli wasn't sure whether he knew most of the members already disappeared.
"Amber, Send other clones here....looks like he is still able to block my other attack"
The Arsenic coloured hair woman/Eva said with a wry smile.
While Eli looked at his fallen comrades for a second another clone appeared behind and tried to slash through his stomach.

The clones were momentarily distracted by the illusions, their blades slashing through the empty air.
He was rotating and twisting his body more than he fought against the Old man.

As Eli sped away, leaving a trail of afterimages in his wake, even Eva was astonished by his speed. She had never seen anyone move so quickly before.
Despite the immense strain on his body, Eli pushed on.
He knew that he was reaching the limits of his Plasma Arts as his lungs burned, and his muscles ached.
Ember blocked every direct attack to his vital points that came after while its chains that wove through its being lashed out, deflecting and disrupting any stray blows that threatened to breach its defences.
'Damn it,' Eva cursed inwardly. She was just about to ask another clone for an update when a sudden surge of power erupted from Eli.

Even though he was facing Eva, his hazy eyes constantly glared at a vampire and wolf when they were aligned in a straight line....Eli threw Celestria along with some illusions to distract Eva and Amber.
