After eating one for herself, Zi Yuan was left stunned as well.

A woman dressed in a pristine white historical outfit appeared before them, her gaze fixed upon the Bloody Bodhi in Qin Feng’s hands, revealing a mixture of emotions.
“Sister, what’s going on?” Zi Yuan asked curiously.
“What sister!”
Qin Feng pulled Zi Yuan closer, bellowing with a cold expression, “Demon, I can tell that you’re not a human with just one look!”
“Not a human? Then it's a demon!”
Terrified, Zi Yuan quickly sought refuge behind Qin Feng.
Unlike the Sabretooth Tiger Demonic Beast that they had encountered previously, demonic beasts capable of transforming into humans were undoubtedly powerful demons. Their strength could only be described as horrifying.
“That’s right, she’s a demon!”
Qin Feng had gained the ability to distinguish between humans and demons ever since he had learned the Great Might of the Sky Dragon. He could confidently identify this white-dressed woman before him as a great demon that had transformed into a human.

The white-dressed woman was extremely shocked at the fact that Qin Feng could tell her true nature as a demon at a mere glance.

Qin Feng didn’t relax for a moment, his fingers poised in the ritual gesture for the Great Might of the Sky Dragon.
He had learned from the tenth ancestor that Huang Gu was founded together by more than ten thousand species. However, amongst them all, the animosity between humans and demonic beasts was the most severe. Considering their long-standing feud, it was impossible for members of their races to come together and have a leisurely drink together in a bar.
After a moment, the white-dressed woman spoke, “I entered the remnant to search for treasures for my newborn child, but due to my weakened state after childbirth, I couldn’t compete with those people for the Bloody Bodhis. I don’t need a lot, I just need ten.”
And the moment she finished speaking.
Her eyes were imploring Qin Feng earnestly.
For a great demon capable of transforming into a human, revealing her weakness of recently having gone through childbirth was an extremely risky move.
It was important to note that the bodies of great demons were treasures in themselves, and if news of her condition got out, people would come after her. If they were able to capture her, they would peel off her skin and tear out her tendons to create treasures or spiritual medicines.

Qin Feng showed a big smile as he pulled out his little notepad. He had faith that a great demon capable of human transformation would have something of value, at least.
Perhaps they could exchange information about the location of treasures, or remnants, or even what kind of god-awful secrets certain individuals had……

The white-dressed woman found herself stuck between a rock and a hard place. She had no resources to offer, as Qin Feng had suggested.
“Good fellow, I’ve seen the poor, but I never saw a great demon as poor as you are!”
Qin Feng couldn’t help but show some respect as he wondered how she had gained the ability to take on a human form and become a great demon.
At this moment—
A cry of surprise came from afar, “I found Lin San, and also a super powerful treasure at the same time!”
“How fast!”
Qin Feng’s eyes shone as he quickly pulled Zi Yuan towards the area of commotion.
Before he left, he didn’t forget to turn back and glance at the white-dressed woman. He caught the sight of the self-reproach in her eyes as a mother and the dazed expression she had as she thought about her future. He couldn’t help himself and threw her a small bag.
This wasn’t an awakening for his soul as a milf-hunter, but rather his instincts as a villain telling him that there was a profit to be made here.

The white-dressed woman hurriedly expressed her gratitude in the direction where Qin Feng had departed before quickly escaping the remnant happily.
“You gave it to her just like that?!” Zi Yuan couldn’t understand his actions.
“Just treat it as an act of kindness,” Qin Feng replied without explaining himself. Even if a great demon was poor, their terrifying strength still existed. Rather than adding icing to the cake in the future, he’d rather send charcoal during winter in the present [1].
Perhaps one day in the future, this act of kindness could save his life.
It didn’t take long—
Qin Feng followed the crowd and found Lin San.
He was currently surrounded by a group of people, his back facing a stone platform that was covered by a barrier not too far away. On top of the platform sat a jade box with intricate craftsmanship.
He could tell with a glance that the jade box contained a treasure inside, one that was the most valuable in this entire remnant—the ultimate objective of Lin San.
“It seems like it cannot be taken out.”
Qin Feng activated his telekinesis and made an attempt to take it out, but it ultimately failed to pass through the barrier due to his low cultivation.

Seeing as the crowd became bigger, Lin San grew even more furious.

The dozens of Dao cultivators immediately realised that there weren’t any members of the Heaven Heart City present. They hovered in midair on their flying swords as they stared down at Lin San, urging him to leave tactfully.
