“You should just focus on your work. Jingshu asked me, my mom, and your mom to help bring her to Shanghai together. I’ll also take both your mom and my mom to tour Shanghai,” Shao Hua told Zhang Fan as they discussed this matter.
“That’s fine, but you’ll have to go to Lan City first, then.”
“That’s no problem at all. No need for you to worry. I’ll definitely bring Jingshu to her college before school starts, and safely bring both our mothers back.”

Li Xiao found an excellent location for Ma Wentao to establish his planned hospital at: a three-story building next door to Chasu City Women and Children’s Hospital. Ma Wentao had truly gotten lucky with this location. Chasu City Women and Children’s Hospital had medical equipment equal in quality to Chasu City Hospital’s. The previous gynecology department director of Chasu City Hospital had used her connections to become the superintendent of Chasu City Women and Children’s Hospital. The current Chasu City Hospital gynecology director was Cheng Hong, an expert doctor that Superintendent Ouyang had personally invited from the border province’s provincial capital hospital. Cheng Hong had no hope of becoming department director in the provincial hospital, as she only had a master’s degree, and there were plenty of doctorate degree students at the provincial hospital who were also expert doctors. The more skilled doctors might not all want to be hospital superintendents, but they would definitely want to be at least department director. This was a matter of authority. In Chasu City Hospital, there was only the gynecology department. There was no individual department for obstetrics, so obstetrics was also done in the gynecology department. The current policy in the gynecology department was that its doctors would spend six months focusing on gynecology and the other six months focusing on obstetrics. But for night shifts, there would usually only be one doctor on duty, and that doctor would be responsible for both gynecology and obstetrics. Typically, obstetrics would receive a lot more emergency treatment patients than gynecology.

However, these new H Country citizens would often still have parents or siblings still remaining in China. China’s development constantly improved after 1949. Many of the new H Country citizens thus wanted to return, but no longer had the chance.
H Country’s society and economy was a mirror of Russia’s. There was a tremendous difference between the rich and the poor, with many oligarchs. Although H Country’s hospitals would treat its citizens for free, H Country’s hospital’s doctors’ medical abilities were truly terrible. Many rich H Country citizens would instead cross the border and come to China’s border province for treatment.
Chasu City was adjacent to H Country’s border. This meant that many H Country citizens would come visit Chasu City Hospital for their illnesses. The female patient Reyihan was once such H Country citizen who was formerly a Chinese citizen back in the day. Nowadays, Reyihan worked in the gem business in H Country.
H Country had abundant mining resources. Chinese people loved gems of various colors. Reyihan’s siblings were all still in China. She often sold H Country’s gems to people in the border province, and then she would bring the border province’s agricultural and light industry products back to H Country. Over the years, she had become nouveau riche from her import-export business.
Reyihan had gone for a checkup at a hospital in H Country due to menorrhagia, or excessive menstrual bleeding. The H Country doctor had discovered during the checkup that Reyihan had a uterine myoma. The H Country doctor recommended a hysterectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the entire uterus. The cause of uterine myomas was still currently unknown. Myomas were most common in women of childbearing age who had either lost their partner to death or divorce, or who had lacking sex lives. A long period of a lacking sex life was also a potential contributing factor to causing uterine myomas. At any rate, uterine myomas most likely developed as a result of many different factors combined.
“Why do you wish to keep your uterus?” Director Cheng Hong asked as she looked over Reyihan’s medical information.
“I won’t be a woman anymore without a room to house children in!” Reyihan looked at Cheng Hong with an expression of disbelief.
“Alright, we can keep your uterus for you. You couldn’t have this surgery done in H Country?”
“Sigh! H country’s doctors are so irresponsible. One of my employees broke his bone in a car accident, and went to get metal plates. But, the hospital and doctors there said that he would require amputation! They weren’t even capable of setting his bone! That’s so scary!”
“Haha, okay then! Go ahead and fill out the paperwork for hospitalization. We’ll prepare a surgery for you.”
“Alright! Thank you, Director Cheng!” Reyihan then left while swishing her chubby butt around.
There were far too many patients similar to Reyihan who would come to Chasu City Hospital from H Country! Many years ago, they looked down on the new China, but now they were really envious!
