Granny Xu bought breakfast and came back. At the hospital entrance, she met Zhao Yu who came to see Ling Yue. "Mrs. Zhou! Why are you here?" Zhao Yu was Zhou Mucheng’s mother and the matriarch of the Zhou Family. She had a very good relationship with Ling Yue’s mother when she was alive. Ling Yue and Zhou Mucheng’s engagement was decided by the two of them.
"I'm here to see Yue Yue. How is she now?" There was a hint of guilt in Zhao Yu's expression. She was very fond of Yue Yue and hoped that she could become her daughter-in-law. It was just a pity that things never go as planned.

Zhao Yu let out a cold snort and walked to the bedside. Seeing Ling Yue’s whole body wrapped in gauze, her eyes turned red again, "My poor child."
"Auntie Zhao..." Ling Yue knew Zhao Yu sincerely cared for the original host.

Ling Yue shook her head, "I don't."
Zhao Yu wiped her tears and said, "If you don't blame me, keep the bank card. Otherwise I'll think you resent me."
Ling Yue didn't say anything else. Even if she took the card now, she would return it after leaving the hospital.
After sitting at the hospital for a while, Zhao Yu left.
Back home, she saw Zhou Mucheng sitting in the living room looking at documents. She went over and sat down across from him, "I just went to the hospital to see Yue Yue. Her condition is very bad now."
Zhou Mucheng didn't even lift his head, just nodded slightly. He had never liked Ling Yue. He only met her a few times because of their engagement. He liked independent women with their own opinions, not someone plain and uninteresting like Ling Yue. Now that the engagement was called off, he could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
"Can you go see her? She'll definitely be very happy to see you." Zhao Yu knew Ling Yue was very fond of her son. Whenever she saw Mucheng, her eyes were full of him. It was just a pity...
"I'm very busy recently." Zhou Mucheng flatly refused. Now that he finally got out of the engagement, how could he possibly go see that woman again.
"Mucheng, do it for your mother, please go see Yue Yue." Zhao Yu hoped Ling Yue could be a little happier. It would also be good for her recovery.

After a few days of recuperation with the power of the stars, Ling Yue felt her body was recovered. She asked Granny Xu to process her discharge paperwork. She really disliked staying in the hospital, especially the smell of disinfectant that she found unbearable.
"Young miss, you should stay in the hospital for a few more days. What if your wounds get infected after you're discharged?" Granny Xu was worried. The young miss had only been in the hospital for a week and her injuries were not yet healed.
When the nurse came to change the young miss’s dressings yesterday, she saw that her wounds were still raw and bleeding. How could she be discharged now?
"Granny Xu, I don't want to stay in the hospital. Go get my discharge paperwork done for me, okay?" Ling Yue shook Granny Xu's arm coquettishly.

Ling Yue looked towards the voice, her gaze turning cold. The newcomer was Ling Yue's half-sister, Ling Meng.
Ling Meng walked to the bedside and looked Ling Yue up and down, laughing mockingly, "It's really pitiful to be injured like this. I heard burn scars can never heal for a lifetime. What will you do now, sister?"
