The next morning.
Su Mo was still intoxicated in her dream of being surrounded by a group of handsome men.
In the dream, Wu Ying was shirtless, his muscles were just right, and his hormones were bursting.
He stood among a group of handsome men and crooked his finger at Su Mo.

Su Mo was awoken from her sweet dream by a voice, right when things were getting steamy.

Su Mo tossed and turned, wanting to continue with her dream, but she realized she had woken up already and could no longer resume the dream.
She bolted up abruptly, scratched her head in annoyance as she resentfully looked at Sang Li by the bedside, “Sis Li, it was at a critical moment! How could you wake me up!”.
“What critical moment? You even had a nosebleed, you scared me to death!"
Su Mo touched her nose bewilderedly, there really was blood.
"Impossible! I didn’t even get to do anything yet!"
"You..." Sang Li gave her an amused look, "Having a wet dream?".
"I wish I was! But I got nothing before you woke me up!" Su Mo wiped her nosebleed as she retorted.
Sang Li raised her brows at her, "That fond of handsome men? There were so many boys chasing you before, how come you never dated any of them?".
"Hehe... Handsome men are for visual enjoyment and fantasy only. Getting to know them more would ruin their allure." Su Mo shrugged nonchalantly.
"Flirting without commitment? What a scum girl you are!".
Su Mo shrugged again unconcernedly, "Scum girl it is then!".
"......"
Sang Li threw some clothes at her, “Hurry up and get dressed. Bai Yunxin is here to see us.”
“What does she want with us?”
“What do you think? She’s scared we might spread words about her relationship with Young Master Li. She probably came...to seal our mouths.”
Su Mo joked, “Well my silence fee won’t come cheap!”
The two quickly got dressed and opened the door. Bai Yunxin was already waiting outside.
She was dressed in black and white mourning clothes. Her face looked somewhat haggard with prominent dark eye circles, having apparently stood vigil over Old Master Bai’s body the entire night.
“May I have a word with you two ladies?”, Bai Yunxin’s face betrayed no emotions.
“Of course.”
Su Mo and Sang Li followed Bai Yunxin to the backyard garden of the Bai residence before stopping.
As they walked over, the two realized just how big the Bai residence was, beautifully built with many exotic flowers, plants and trees.
“I believe you two understand the purpose of my visit. I hope you know what to say and what not to say.” Bai Yunxin’s tone carried a chill.
Hearing her tone, Sang Li smiled at her.
“Miss Bai jests. We apologize for accidentally intruding into Young Master Li’s chamber the other day and interrupting your romantic tryst. ”
“You...” Bai Yunxin’s face flushed red and white alternately.
“Since Miss Bai is the one asking favor, you should adopt the appropriate attitude.” Sang Li’s tone turned colder.
Bai Yunxin was incensed by Sang Li’s words. After she returned last night, she had been anxious and fearful that Sang Li and the other girl might spread words about her affair with Li Wenxuan.
But her maid told her that Sang Li and the other girl were just some no-name commoners. The Bai family was prominent and powerful. She need not fear them. A little intimidation and bribery and they certainly wouldn’t dare to spill the beans.

“Is that so?” Sang Li smiled faintly as she took out her mobile phone from her waistband, opened the photo album and held it in front of Bai Yunxin’s face. “The images are pretty clear aren’t they, Miss Bai?”.
Seeing the photo, Bai Yunxin's eyes widened in shock. “What...what is this thing?”. She tried to grab the phone but Sang Li swiftly pulled it back.
“Miss Bai’s beauty is like a blossoming lotus. Why not find a painter to capture this exquisite scene of you and Young Master Li and show the world your love?”
“You...” Bai Yunxin was furious but then slowly calmed herself down. Her love for Li Wenxuan was genuine. It was just that...the Bai and Li families had some grievances that made marriage alliance difficult. However, with Old Master Bai now gone, she saw new hope for her marriage with Li Wenxuan again.
She had to placate these two girls first, at least until her father’s funeral was over and done with. Her affair definitely must not be exposed now!

“You should have shown this nice attitude earlier. We wouldn’t need to have had such an unpleasant spat!” Su Mo scoffed at her.
“Since Miss Bai has said so, it would be boorish for us to reject her goodwill.” Sang Li took the silver bills from her hand, “Thank you for your generosity, Miss Bai.”
After saying so, Sang Li and Su Mo turned around to leave.
Watching their retreating backs, a vicious glint flashed in Bai Yunxin's eyes. Most of her secret savings were now gone due to these two girls!
“Sis Li, this Bai Yunxin seems a little phony to me!” Su Mo remarked.
“Even you can tell? She is just buying time.”
“What if she makes trouble for us?”
Sang Li pondered briefly, “We know too little about the Bai and Li families so far to come up with countermeasures yet.”
Su Mo couldn’t help but quip, “I feel life is getting tough for us. People who get isekai’d all have golden fingers but we have none! Sad life!”
Sang Li patted her shoulder, “Survival first, then figuring out how to get home.”
