Chapter 3: It’s Going To Hurt, Bear With It

Luo Zheng could not imagine what his intentions were and what his motive was. She thought that it was her body that he wanted. However, it turned out that he was just a lunatic!
After realizing that, Luo Zheng took a deep breath and said, “I said that I’ll make love with you if you could kill them, but I was lying to you! I was just making use of you. I won’t bed you at all... I’m sorry, please kill me!”
She then closed her eyes slowly and waited for death to approach. She did not mind dying in the hands of the same person who murdered Xi Mubai.
Everyone was afraid of death and Luo Zheng was no exception.
She could sense that the man was about to take action soon.
He held her hand and placed something on her palm. “There’s a bank account card in there. The password is your birthday and there’s also a new passport and identity card that will give you a new identity! There’s also a ticket for a flight to Paris that will take off in two hours! Missy, forget about everything that happened here and go start a new life.”
Upon hearing his words, Luo Zheng widened her eyes in shock.
Her brain was in a frenzy and the next thing she knew, he was carrying her out of the French window and placed outside.
He then stayed in the house, with the window separating them.
Luo Zheng murmured in bewilderment, “Why?”
I don’t know. I really don’t know why he did that!
Bo Hancheng stood still and his eyes seemed cloudy and glassed over.
He bent forward and put an arm around Luo Zheng’s shoulder before proceeding to kiss her forehead.
His lips were thin and cold, and the sweet kiss seemed to have taken all of his energy.
“Continue living on, alright?”
He repeated those words over and over again throughout that night.
Luo Zheng nodded and raised her head to hold his gaze. His eyes were like a sky full of stars and contained sentiments that she could not understand.
Perhaps, she could guess it.
Does he... love me?
Luo Zheng wanted to deny it because she was in disbelief.
Throughout all these years, she had been abandoned, detested and resented by many. Sometimes, she would even begin hating herself... Of course, there were plenty of men who tried to please her, but none of them were genuine about her.
She had never known that someone would treat her like a gem and love her as much as she loved Xi Mubai. He was willing to give up his life for her!
“It’s going to hurt, bear with it.”
All of a sudden, Bo Hancheng spoke with deep meaning to his words.
The next thing Luo Zheng knew, he bit down onto her shoulder and fresh blood flowed out of it.
Luo Zheng frowned in pain and tried her best not to dodge, for she knew that he was just trying to make a mark on her body.
“Very obedient.”
A long time later, Bo Hancheng complimented her softly.
Soon, he got up slowly and pulled her away. She urged calmly, “Hurry and leave!”
Luo Zheng was extremely taken aback. She subconsciously took a few steps forward like a puppet.
Suddenly reminded of something, she turned around to look at him. “What’s your name?”
Bo Hancheng initially did not wish to say his name. However, Luo Zheng seemed to be insistent on hearing his answer before leaving.
In the end, he sighed softly.
“Bo Hancheng. My name is Bo Hancheng.”
“Bo Hancheng... Bo Hancheng... Bo Hancheng... ”
Luo Zheng continued to repeat his name to herself again and again while walking away.
The sounds of police sirens filled the air and she stopped in her tracks, seemingly having snapped out of her delirium.
She watched as the police cars whizzed past her. They pulled over outside the matrimonial home and plenty of police cars began to surround the compound.
“Be careful, the murderer is hiding in there. Start searching!”
Luo Zheng stood by the door and watched as the police entered the matrimonial home in order to arrest Bo Hancheng.
The thought of it made her realize that Bo Hancheng had already guessed that the police would be coming and hence, urged her to leave... He had arranged for her to start a new life, but ended up cutting his own life short!
Tears welled up in Luo Zheng’s eyes as she looked down and stared at her passport, bank account card and new identity.
Bang!
At this very moment, the sounds of an explosion filled the air.
Luo Zheng raised her head and was thrown back the instant she saw the explosive scene from a distance away.
Her matrimonial home had gone up in flames and the people inside would definitely die!
The only person who treated her well, was gone.
“No... don’t... ”
Luo Zheng scurried across the road trying to escape and rush home.
In the next instant, a cargo truck drove towards her and collided into Luo Zheng.
Like a broken kite, Luo Zheng fell onto the ground while fresh blood flowed out of her.
Snowflakes were still calmly drifting down in the pitch dark night sky,.
Luo Zheng’s pupils dilated and she could feel her life leaving her.
She had once heard that people tended to experience regret at the very moment before the end of one’s life.
That was what Luo Zheng was feeling right now.
In hindsight, she was just like a fool who made mistake after mistake, and ended up ruining herself!
Death was her only redemption.
Fortunately, she had Xi Mubai and Mu Nianqing to accompany her on the road to hell. Hence, she did not have any regrets.
However, a man’s face popped up in her head, right before her death.
Surprisingly, the man was not Xi Mubai. It was... Bo Hancheng!
