Chapter 4 - New Skills
By the time the live stream ended, Qin Hua had almost emptied the small baby bottle full of milk.
And along with a full bulging stomach, the notifications that she had been working hard for also popped out.

[Skills panel has been unlocked]
Qin Hua who had been contently lazing on Su Yan's lap suddenly jolted and perked up.
[Skills! Yay!]
Her small cute face was full of smiles as she greedily looked at the three new skills that had appeared, but the next instant her smile faded.

Qin Hua stared at the illusionary blue screen with animosity.
She consoled herself with the fact that at least Level 1 was mentioned next to these ridiculous skills.
Maybe she could slowly level them up to get more powerful skills.
She checked the skills panel again, with her beady little eyes settling uncomfortably on the last skill, Plead.
Nibble and Whine were doable. Just what the hell was Plead??
Then it suddenly struck her!
Maybe this was the legendary cute puppy dog eyes, that made anyone and everyone a slave to the puppy!!
Various ideas about mind-controlling and charming other people popped into her small fluffy head, as she silently chuckled with a sinister look.
These skills might not be useless after all!
But this was all brand new for her and at this point, everything was just conjecture.
So Qin Hua immediately wanted to start leveling up these skills and test her theories.
Though in the current peaceful world, everything like this was useless, she still thanked her good luck for receiving such a system.
Else she would have been bored out of her wits playing and sleeping all day long!
Qin Hua finally budged from her comfortable position and craned her neck to select an ideal candidate.
Nibble was her first target.
She chose this particular skill because her previous life had drilled into her the importance of learning self-defense.
Qin Hua's mind again wandered to the Qin family and their depravity.
Maybe one day she could even become strong enough to bite the head of her so-called family members.
As she mentally imagined her revenge, she absentmindedly nibbled the ends of the white T-shirt Su Yan was wearing.
She was too tired to move around and find something else to chew.
"Ack! Look at this naughty girl! Your teeth haven't even fully formed but you are already chewing everything in sight aren't you?"
Su Yan affectionately rubbed Qin Hua's head and patted the little thing.
"Poor Little White. I bet it's just restless. It has been getting very hot lately. And this is not even the summer season!" Lu Chen whined in despair.
"These past few days have indeed been unusually hot." Su Yan nodded as well.
"Should we take Little white out for a walk? It is finally nice and cool outside." Lu Chen suggested.
Ever since they got a puppy, he has been itching to do all sorts of outdoor activities.
The two agreed and decided to go out for a small walk.
As soon as they stepped out Qin Hua suddenly got a new notification.
[Daily quest: Stay in the moonlight for 1 hour]
[Reward: 5 experience points]
She was instantly overjoyed. She still needed 195 experience points to level up and this sounded very easy to accomplish.
She didn't even have to do anything personally.
Qin Hua happily basked in the glow of the moonlight as the two guys strolled around the apartment complex.
But her happiness was shortlived.
Even though it was night time, the atmosphere was still exceedingly hot, and the duo decided to turn back just after 10 minutes.
When it was this hot outside, they could only count on returning home and blasting the air conditioner.
[What!! No No No. I still need 50 mins more.]
Little white racked her brain and came up with a decent idea. It was time to use her divine combination move, Whine + Plead.
As soon as Su Yan started turning back home, Little white immediately started whining showing an uncomfortable expression on its face.
She adjusted her gaze and looked at Su Yan with the signature heart melting puppy dog look.
"Oh my god. Little white what happened?" The two guys immediately started fussing over her.
After circling a lot of possibilities they finally landed on the idea of prolonging their walk.
And Little white as well happy bobbed her head up and down, swiftly indicating her approval.
[He He. Bingo. These are definitely god-level skills!]
But Qin Hua also couldn't help but feel the increased heat all around them.
In the short span of one hour, they personally witnessed at least two car tires bursting from high pressure.
And one even looked like it was melting.
Both Su Yan and Lu Chen had a worried look on their faces.
All those warnings about global warming and excessive pollution, maybe finally something snapped??
Since they were walking for a lot longer, the duo decided to do some grocery shopping.
The next week might be even worse than today, so they decided to stock up on a few more than necessary supplies.
And by the time they returned back home, Qin Hua's quest was also completed.
