The enlarged face of a cat appeared. Yanyan blinked, and as always, bumped the cellphone with his head.
“Don’t bump it.” The man’s voice was low and deep. It carried a trace of hoarseness and a tone of helplessness. “Silly cat.”
Yu Yan felt that small amount of moodiness that he was wallowing in just now had been cured.
He stared at the cat and tried to peep at the cat’s owner from the empty corner beside the cat.
At the same time that Yu Yan was trying hard to peep at 1, 1 was also looking at him.
The light was very dim, as though only a bedside lamp had been turned on. The shadows fell on his face, contouring his facial features.

The cat suddenly let out a soft meow. When his master released his grip, he turned around and jumped down.
Yu Yan had originally been looking left and right of the cat, but since there was nothing covering him now, he could see 1 more clearly.
Just as before, he saw black pants with white pinstripes, a slightly wrinkled shirt, and a big-name brand’s logo revealed on the belt.

Yi Chen hung up the call, randomly dropped his cellphone on the table, picked up the cat, and then walked out.

“Take this silly cat to get neutered tomorrow.”

“If he goes out and produces more cats, are you going to support those kittens?”
“Then neutering him is for the best ba. Having one to play with is enough, I couldn’t stand having more,” Yi Ran said. Then, as if he had detected something, he asked, “Ge, why do you keep calling it ‘silly cat’ recently? Doesn’t it have a name?”
Yi Chen put the cat down and let him scurry to the living room. “Changed it.”

As today was Wednesday, PUBG was undergoing its weekly maintenance. Yu Yan opened up the mahjong game in QQ. “Don’t quarrel. If you keep fighting, you’ll be banned by the mods. Today is maintenance day, so going to play two games of mahjong to build character.”
For his first mahjong match, he had a good set of tiles. It only took three turns before a notification popped up on the right side of the screen, indicating that he could complete a hand.
He clicked to dismiss the notification without hesitation and continued to play.

Yu Yan resolutely clicked ‘dismiss’ on the chance to grab the tile and drew from the wall instead. It was the exact tile that he lacked; he actually completed the honor tile sets for his hand.

Yu Yan was stunned; his hand suddenly shook and he ended up clicking to “dismiss” the winning mahjong call.
The honor sets that he had been building throughout the course of the entire game had disappeared just like that.

Juurensha: Nooooo Boss Yi whyyyy. Don’t be immature just because you’re jealous! (Hopefully there’s a better explanation here for what’s going on…) Also a quick note: the terms for mahjong are a little vague because it seems the author herself isn’t exactly a mahjong player.
