As soon as the weekend finished and work started again, certain people were burdened by their family into rushing over to Yida Group, with all family members in tow.
Intruding guests who couldn’t be stopped at the front doors were mostly just for show in TV dramas. Even though this family was very aggressive, they were still stopped in the lobby by the front desk.
In the conference room, a staff member was reporting the weekly status report while trembling from fear. Only from time to time did they dare to sneak a glance at the boss sitting at the head of the table. The other party just kept looking at the documents in his hand, and so he had no idea whether the boss had actually listened to his report or not.
The atmosphere, which had become very imposing and heavy, was disturbed when there was a faint sound of a vibration.
Yi Chen finally moved his eyes away from the document, picked up his cellphone, looked at it, directly hung up the incoming call, and then turned it off.
“Forgot to shut it down, sorry.” He said, “Go on.”

“No.” He frowned. “Go on.”
The employee didn’t dare to say anything more and simply continued to report.
After two hours, the meeting ended. As soon as he came out, his secretary came up to him and said, “President Yi, outside…”
He raised his eyes and asked, “Still there?”
The secretary paused, not expecting him to know about the situation before she could make her report. “Yes, still there.”
“En.” Yi Chen tossed the documents into her hand. “We have to change our security company.”
The secretary didn’t dare to ask anymore or agree with his statement, and just followed him with her mouth shut.

The driver called out, “President Yi?”
Yi Chen retrieved his gaze and turned to sit inside.
On the highway, he flipped through two pages of information. Reading felt kind of tiring after just having finished a meeting. He just glanced at the rest of the document before closing it.
He hesitated for a moment before taking out his earphones.
The person in the livestream was just in the middle of the final circle. Even though he was in a hurry, he still didn’t forget to greet him. “1, did you have lunch?”
He was about to open his keyboard to reply, when an unknown number called him. He never replied to unknown numbers, so he just cut the call.
“What’s the matter with the car in the back ah?” The driver looked in the rearview mirror and whispered, “We’re on the highway, but they still dare to follow so closely…”
Yi Chen said, while wearing the headphones, “Then just let him pass first.”
Following his orders, the driver flicked on his turn signal, left the fast lane, released a bit of the accelerator, and reduced the car’s speed to 65.
The car behind them didn’t even seem to think before it followed their change of lane while keeping the force exerted on the accelerator as much as before, and the distance between the two cars reduced and became too close. In a few seconds, it was nearly pressed against their trunk. Looking at how close the car in front was, the driver of the car in the back was stunned for a moment, but it was too late to step on the brake&#k2014;&#k2014;
Bang, the car in the front was hit hard—it flipped over directly, and fell on the side of the highway.

The other side was silent.
