Heinald spent many long days in the desert learning to cast spells he had acquired. He had noticed that he was spending much less time learning the High-Rank spells he had learned before.
He thought it was because of the differences in the structure of the spells. Each spell's pattern was different, and even if they were the same rank, there could be big differences in the difficulty of the spells.
Heinald had relatively little difficulty learning the element-based spells he had newly acquired, as there were a lot of element-based spells he had learned before.
However, Dark Spells were the ones that challenged him the most. There were two obvious reasons for this: Dark Spells had a more complex pattern than elemental spells, so it was tiring the mind much more and faster. Secondly, Dark Energy, which should be used after constructing these patterns in mind, had much more fluctuation than Elemental Energy; therefore it required a very delicate process.
However, he wasn't the type to give up. He had a goal to reach the top, and this goal always gave him great willpower.
After hundreds of mistakes and considerations without giving up, he was finally able to cast all the new spells he learned. However, he hadn't mastered them enough.
He knew that if he wanted to use these spells quickly and effectively in a battle, he had to master them.
Next up was a hard training!
During his time in the desert, Heinald was aware that he was constantly being watched. So when he wasn't traveling, he created a simple concealment formation and prevented them from observing him. Another issue that worried him during his time in the desert was the black mark in his sea of consciousness. He was aware that it was gradually spreading in the sea of consciousness, so he wanted to return to the Ainsar World as soon as possible and seek to remove this taint.
However, he had to challenge the possibility of seizing the relic on this plane first!
He wasn't an idiot. He understood that the Kawtils were targeting him. They obviously didn't want to miss him. He was sure they weren't watching him because they were worried about his safety.
During his time in the desert, he also had time to think about his future plans. He wanted to single-handedly obtain the relic from the Infernal Abyss. However, even if he managed to break through the formation, he did not know what he would face in the future. So he would agree to help the Kawtils and appear to be on their side; but in fact he would only use them as cannon fodder.
Once he got more information about the relic area, he would finish them off.
Heinald determined an area to train in and set up a formation in that area. This formation formed a black globe covering a large area and made its interior invisible from the outside.
The reason he did this was because he clearly didn't want them to learn his combat power.
"Light Flow!" While Heinald was constructing the pattern of spell in his mind, he sent his Magical Energy into this pattern and integrated them.
Heinald felt the blood coursing through his veins turn into lightning bolts. He felt very light in his body, he had a feeling that he would take off and fly like a leaf of a tree in a wind.
Numerous small lightning bolts began to swirl around his body like little snakes.
Heinald set a point ahead as his target and dashed towards it. He felt his body fly away like a piece of paper caught in a hurricane. In the blink of an eye, he had reached his target point.
"If my eyes were normal, I would definitely see completely blurry as I moved…" Heinald managed to see his surroundings as he moved at an incredibly fast speed. However, this sudden speed made him dizzy just like it did last time.
He had to get used to it.
Heinald knew that the spell named Light Flow could not be cast twice in a row. It couldn't be said that this and other elemental spells had too much difficulty anyway. He thought he could master these spells in a short time.
Toxic Instinct!
His pupils turned pale green as Heinald began casting the spell. Two clouds of gas appeared around him, resembling a snake encircling a pillar, and began to circle around him.
All the sand, ten meters in diameter, turned a black color and became a sticky and dense consistency.
This spell was the only elemental spell that he was worried about while casting. The cast time of this spell was about five seconds, as he was very careful while constructing the pattern of this spell in his mind and integrating it with Magical Energy, knowing that he could be harmed if he made a mistake.
While this time was considered very good for the other Ainsars, it was quite a bad time for him.
"Black Fire Meteorite!" Heinald started casting the strongest damage spell he had.
Heinald wanted this spell to strike a place 400 meters away from him. About 50 meters high, a huge black circle appeared, from which a black orb engulfed by black flames began to fall.
When this orb fell into the area it designated, a deep crater covering an area of 250 meters was formed. There were no explosions or tremors, the sand in that area had completely disappeared.
"This spell will be extremely deadly if the opponent is caught and held still." Heinald nodded.
He would reinforce the other two spells when he found a creature on which he could observe the effects.
He would train for the three spells he had set for now and increase his understanding of them. This will reduce the time it takes to cast them; control would increase.
While Heinald was training on the spells he had newly learned, the members of the Kawtil Council were in a panic. This was due to an intelligence they had recently received.
According to this intelligence, high council of the Ulltemols were seen flying towards the entrance to the relic area, which is on the side of their borders.
Avnr immediately ordered all the council members to assemble. He had never guessed that they would make the first move.
The council members had a suspicion that this might be a trap, but they had to ignore it. If that's why they got scared and didn't go there, the Ultemols might have a chance to seize the relic.
Although they were unlikely to break through the formation, they had to be careful.
The five councilors who made up the main force of the Kawtils gathered together, and the remaining four, with the exception of Avnr, went to the giant Rafan. They would travel fast on the back of this Magical Beast, which looked like a gigantic eagle.
Avnr, on the other hand, started to move through the vast desert with the security formation. He was moving at a great speed through a gigantic sand tornado.
While Heinald was wandering around in the desert hoping to stumble upon a life form, he spotted a sand tornado far in the distance.
"Is it heading towards the Infernal Abyss?" Heinald muttered. A strange glint appeared in his eyes.
Going to the Infernal Abyss with formation had only one meaning!
He immediately started running at full speed to the Infernal Abyss. After running nonstop for an unknown amount of time, he had come to the edge of the Infernal Abyss.
"I wish Revakender was here…" Heinald sighed as he looked down.
The sand tornado had disappeared from his sight a long time ago. He immediately calculated the distance between his current location and the entrance to the relic area he had visited before.
He then jumped down and cast his spell named Whisper of the Wind and started floating.
If his calculation was not wrong, he should have moved about ten miles towards the east side of the abyss.
His main concern was calculating how far down the abyss he would go.
Previously, when flying with Towsak, he had carefully paid attention to which part of the abyss they were diving from.
After days of traveling over the ledges of the northern slope of the abyss, Heinald managed to find the entrance to the relic area where he had come with Towsak.
When Heinald came in front of the huge rift, he began to observe the surroundings carefully. He did not feel any energy fluctuating around.
This meant that there was no conflict nearby.
He entered the rift and continued forward cautiously. After successfully circumventing the traps that Towsak had shown him earlier, he had reached the front of the formation again.
He had reviewed what he had experienced in this formation over and over in his mind, but he could not figure out what to do. He was beginning to think that this formation might actually be a fallacy and that the real entrance might be somewhere in the Infernal Abyss.
