Chapter 222 - Meat Diet
When Xiu Mei explained how the tracker works(as per how she remembered her son told her to use it) to Lu Chen, he immediately recognized this technology.
It was almost similar to the tracker that they use but definitely better and advanced than theirs.
His lips curled up for a split second as he thought of someone.
This kid... he really placed a tracker on his mother. It seems like there’s someone more possessive other than him with Xiu Mei. Should he put him up for training again.... That is what he wondered as he continued to type away, unaware of the true reason behind the tracker on the watch.
And the said person who tweaked the luxury watch was sitting inside his room and staring at the contents of a small paper bag.
Lu Qiang may be intelligent, but Lu Chen didn’t dare to educate him about a.d.u.l.t interactions just yet. He was too young, and so Lu Qiang didn’t have any idea of what was the use of this colorful box he found inside the car.
There was another empty box inside like some kind of medicine that he couldn’t recognize.
But who is he? Of course, he is a Lu. What he wants to know, and he shall find.
Lu Qiang read the name of the box and opened Baidu. It didn’t even take him five minutes to understand the usage of this box.
"... So this is Dad’s." It was the conclusion he got after searching. He didn’t get embarrassed when he finally knew what it was, though he couldn’t help but think it passing that his parents were sleeping together in one room and doing this stuff.
... Is this what’s he gonna have to do when he becomes an a.d.u.l.t?
Lu Qiang shrugged. And he jumped off his bed to change into his pajamas, before stopping outside of his parent’s room with the paper bag in his hands.
It was his father who opened the door for him when he knocked.
"Dad."
"What?"
"You left this in the car." And then he extended his hand to hand over the paper bag to his father.
Lu Chen couldn’t recognize that paper bag at all.
"It’s not mine."
"That’s impossible." Lu Qiang replied. "The internet says it is for men. And I doubt that this is mother’s."
What is he talking about? Lu Chen couldn’t understand what his son was saying at all. Still confused, he grabbed the paper bag and checked the contents. There were two boxes inside and he instantly understood everything.
A knowing smile briefly appeared on his face before he returned to his usual expression.
"So is it yours? Or this is uncle driver’s?" Lu Qiang asked.
"On second thought, I forgot that this is mine." Lu Chen replied this time. He stared at his son that slightly looked naive but smart. Recalling that his son looked it up on the internet, he wondered whether he should be proud of his son’s diligence in further expanding his knowledge or be worried since the child was probably imparted with s.e.x.u.a.lly explicit information at such a young age.
After finishing his job, he told his father that he’ll wait for them in his room before he left.
Lu Chen had thoughts in his heart. He was pretty sure that this was Xiu Mei’s the moment he saw the after-morning pillbox. He wondered what his wife’s reaction would be if she learns that her son found these boxes and even searched about them on the internet.
Ah,... that would surely be fun just imagining it.
But he won’t let her know. Else his wife blames herself for forgetting it in the car causing the child to find it.
While he was grinning by himself, the bathroom door opened.
"What are you smiling about?" Xiu Mei looked at him curiously.
Lu Chen glanced at his wife and he couldn’t help but smirk. "Nothing."
And the Xiu Mei’s gaze darted to what he was holding in his hand.
Her eyes widened recognizing that paper bag. With a shaky voice, she asked. "W-Why do you...?"
"Ah, this?" Lu Chen continued to tease her as he lifted the paper bag. "I found it in the car."
Xiu Mei:... asdfhjhfuiewanugjf!!!!!
Did he check the contents?!
She looked at his face and saw his playful expression. Her expression stiffened as she finally realized the unfortunate fate that she brought upon onto herself with her forgetfulness.
Xiu Mei was fl.u.s.tered, as she avoided his gaze.
"I’m going to put Lu Qiang to sleep!" She made an excuse and rushed towards the door. In short, she ran away. :)
Lu Chen chuckled watching his wife running away. He withdrew his gaze and grabbed the colorful box inside while keeping the other box in the drawer. He opened the colorful box enthusiastically and hid it in the bedside drawer so he could easily reach for it anytime.
After tidying up, he followed after his wife with his lips curling up. His thoughts unknown to anyone.
After tucking their son to bed, Xiu Mei didn’t wait for Lu Chen and ran back to their room, locking herself up inside the bathroom. While she was taking a quick shower, she heard a knock.
Her heartbeat quickened.
"What is it?"
"Wife, you forgot something."
She traveled her gaze inside the bathroom and didn’t think she forgot anything.
"I didn’t." She replied. She couldn’t but look suspiciously at the door.
This man...
"You forgot your clothes."
"... what?"
Xiu Mei completely missed that one. She shifted her gaze to the counter where she would normally place her change of clothes, and just like he said, the counter was empty, with her clothes nowhere to be found.
.... FUDGE!!!
She was really bringing doom upon herself!!!!!
Xiu Mei grabbed her bathroom towel and wrapped herself in it. And then she cautiously walked over to the door.
"I have your clothes here." The man behind the door said. Xiu Mei’s eyes narrowed, doubts appearing inside her head.
For some reason, her instincts are telling her not to open this door right now.
But as much as she wanted to keep it locked, wouldn’t it be even worse to go out there n.a.k.e.d with just a bathroom towel covering her up?
And with so much hesitation, she unlocked the door and slightly opened it just enough for her hand to pass through.
"Give me my clothes." She replied.
"Oh."
She stood behind the door so Lu Chen wouldn’t be able to see her. As soon as she felt the soft fabric on her hand, she wanted to immediately close the door but she failed to notice a foot slipping in between the door stopping her from closing it.
"!!!!!!!"
Xiu Mei’s brows jumped. Before she could react, Lu Chen already successfully slipped himself in between the door.
"You!!!" She almost screamed as she tried to cover herself with her hands. One arm covered her chest while her other one held down the end of the bathroom towel so that it would stop from hiking up.
"Lu Chen, get out!"
She didn’t need to know why he did that. He was obviously aiming for something ah!
"Wife, you also forgot another thing." Lu Chen exclaimed while staring at his wife. His voice was slightly deep and hoarse as he felt a heat growing below his abdomen.
"Just leave it here and leave the bathroom!"
"This." He ignored her complaints and showed the stuff he hid in his hand. It was a foil wrapper in a squared size.
Xiu Mei’s eyes almost bulged out.
"I didn’t know my wife would be so kind to buy it for me. So I’ll thank you first and express my sincere thanks to you." Lu Chen continued teasing her.
Xiu Mei felt a cold shiver on her spine as she saw the look on Lu Chen’s eyes change. He looked at her as if he was a predator that would gobble her up anytime soon. And that, he will.
"Y-You d-don’t have to." She shook her head vigorously. Lu Chen took a step forward, Xiu Mei instinctively took a step back.
"But wife, I very much want to." Lu Chen kept the smile on his face while his eyes turned more intense as he took another step forward.
Xiu Mei suddenly felt the cold glass door of the shower on her back. She deeply inhaled after realizing that she was now really cornered.
"Wife, what do you say about conserving water?"
Before Xiu Mei could even retort, his lips descended on her and she subconsciously closed her eyes. She was too stunned to react and too absorbed in the kiss that she only returned to her senses when she felt slightly warm water raining above her head. She didn’t even realize when the bathroom towel that was covering her had long been unraveled and was now pitifully lying on the floor.
She didn’t even know when Lu Chen removed his clothes as he stood in front of her with no clothes on. Her eyes unconsciously darted to his fit body, as her eyes traveled to his collarbone, his chest, his arms, and his... eight pack abs.
... Gosh, she was clinging onto such a blessed body last night?
"Like what you see, wife?"
"..." Fudge. She was caught!
And so, Xiu Mei finally realized that this was the start of Lu Chen’s meat-eating diet every night.
